The Trade Union Committee of Gangchen Hotel Successfully Concluded the Election of Additional and Substitute Committee Members and the Election of the Vice Chairperson of the Trade Union

  8 month 6 On the morning of [date], with the approval of the Party Branch of Gangchen Hotel and the higher-level trade union, the Gangchen Hotel Trade Union convened the second plenary session of the first term of the Trade Union Committee, during which additional members were elected to the Committee and a by-election was held to fill vacant positions, resulting in the election of Comrade Long Feng as Vice Chair of the Trade Union. The meeting was chaired by Mo Xiuli, Deputy Secretary of the Hotel’s Party Branch and Chair of the Trade Union.

In accordance with the Constitution of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the Trade Union Law of the People’s Republic of China, the meeting proceeded by secret ballot to elect, on a one-to-one basis, Shen Yinliang, Liang Leilei, and Xu Chunlan as additional and alternate members. 3 Comrade Ming was elected as a member of the hotel’s first Trade Union Committee. Following the additions and by-elections, the entire committee convened a meeting and elected Comrade Longfeng as the Vice Chair of the hotel’s first Trade Union Committee.

Mo Xiuli, Deputy Secretary of the Hotel’s Party Branch and Chairperson of the Trade Union, delivered a briefing on the objectives and significance of the election and by-election process, the need to further improve the trade union’s organizational structure, and the importance of better leveraging the trade union’s functions to unite and rally the workforce and promote the company’s development. Comrade Long Feng, newly elected Vice Chairperson of the Trade Union, stated that under the leadership of the Party, he will lead all union members in fully exercising the trade union’s functions, safeguarding employees’ legitimate rights and interests, strengthening team cohesion, fostering the company’s growth, and ensuring the effective implementation of all trade union tasks.
