In accordance with the directives and requirements set forth in the Notice issued by the Leading Group Command for Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Prevention and Control of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on the Issuance of Guidelines for Accelerating the Comprehensive Resumption of Work and Production in the Culture and Tourism Sector, as well as the Notice from Fangchenggang City on Accelerating the Resumption of Operations in the Catering Industry, Gangchen Hotel, after comprehensively refining its mechanisms for scan-code entry and consumption control, health management of staff, and preventive disinfection of food-processing and operational equipment, facilities, and dining utensils, resumed in-house breakfast service at the Baolai Western Restaurant on the fifth floor on March 28, 2020. To rigorously enforce epidemic-control measures, the hotel has strategically reconfigured the layout of tables and chairs within the restaurant to ensure appropriate social distancing between guests; hand-sanitizing dispensers have been placed at the entrance, and guests are reminded to sanitize their hands upon entering; furthermore, to prevent cross-contamination from shared utensils on buffet stations, we provide each guest with a pair of disposable gloves and encourage them to practice personal protective measures when serving themselves, while also assigning dedicated staff to conduct regular patrols and reminders. In addition, each guest is provided with a single-use, sealable mask pouch for temporarily storing their mask during the meal. After each table has finished dining and departed, restaurant staff promptly carry out thorough disinfection of the table, replace all used utensils, and strictly adhere to preventive disinfection protocols, ensuring that every set of tableware is used only once per guest.
