On June 5, the launch ceremony for the 2020 “Work Safety Month” and “Safe Beigang” campaign of Fangchenggang Gangchen International Hotel was held in the South Sea Hall of the hotel, with the participation of 32 members of the hotel’s Work Safety Committee. During the meeting, General Manager Shi Hu, drawing on recent important instructions from General Secretary Xi Jinping and the work requirements issued by functional departments and the parent company regarding work safety, outlined three key directives for the hotel to carry out the 2020 “Work Safety Month” activities in a solid and effective manner: First, firmly establish a strong safety consciousness, elevate our ideological stance, and continuously reinforce safety awareness. Second, in our daily work, we should develop our own insights into work safety, compare the original vision and objectives for building a work-safety system with actual conditions, conduct objective and pragmatic assessments, identify gaps, put forward recommendations, and strive for continuous improvement. Third, we must continue to implement work-safety education and training, build on the hotel’s established best practices in publicity, make rational use of the hotel’s existing new-media platforms, and employ a variety of online-and-offline promotional approaches to disseminate work-safety knowledge. At the same time, we should provide ongoing guidance and encourage employees to engage with, learn about, and share work-safety information through online channels, thereby genuinely mobilizing all staff at the grassroots level to actively participate in work-safety efforts. The meeting made it clear that throughout June the hotel will comprehensively organize a series of themed activities under the “Work Safety Month” initiative, using this opportunity to conduct thorough risk-identification and hazard-inspection campaigns, rigorously address identified problems, continually strengthen awareness of safety red lines, enhance the overall safety competence of all hotel personnel, and fortify the safety defense line. Furthermore, the hotel will persistently elevate its work on safety and quality to a new level, providing a solid guarantee for achieving high-quality, efficient work-safety objectives.
